ACHIEVE Working with Newcastle University on Indigenous Diabetes Project

ACHIEVE Outcomes Australia has been commisioned to work with the University of Newcastle and the Many River Diabetes Prevention Project Partners on a project to improve health in Indigenous communities.

Steve Blunden will lead this project and work closely with Biripi Aboriginal Medical Service, Durri Aboriginal Medical Service, the Hunter New England Division of General Practice, the Macleay Hastings Division of General Practiice and Medicare Australia to promote the use of selected Medicare items by GPs to enhance health and in particular the prevention of Diabetes.
