Positive Outlook Psychological Services philosophy is based on the concepts of positive psychology as introduced by Martin Seligman. This encourages a focus on wellness rather than an exclusive focus on pathology.

For an individual this can help shift their focus from illness or problems, to opportunities for hope, optimism, autonomy and self-regulation.  The goal is to achieve a sense of wellbeing and happiness, that in turn stimulates creativity, courage, future mindedness, responsibility and ultimately wisdom.
